Now that every team has played each other (except Hell On Wheel v Hot Dogs) once the same match line-up repeats itself. Just like the opening week, the Harvey Street Herons took on Hell on Wheel, and Los Bierdos took on the Ill Eagles.
Game 1 - Harvey Street Herons (W) Vs. Hell On Wheel (L)
Hell on Wheel hungry for redemption brought a successful force against the Harvey Street Herons for the first half and led by 3. For the second half Harvey Street Herons tightened up their defense and began to stop Hell on Wheel from scoring and continued to run the ball in for a number of touchdowns and came away with a solid to continue a now 4-game winning streak.
Game 2 - Los Bierdos (W) Vs. Ill Eagles (L)
An extremely exciting game to watch, Los Bierdos seated at number 1, were put to the test by the ever hopeful Ill Eagles. Though Los Bierdos put many points on the board with relative ease, the Ill Eagles fought back every time and kept the game close. The closing minutes of the second half were mayhem. Unsuccessful extra-point attempts by the Ill Eagles kept them just shy of staying in the game and allowed Los Bierdos to run the clock down to secure the win but not without fighting a true head-to-head battle. Great game everyone.
