Trash talk city. Today's first game pitted The Hot Dogs against Crazy Horses and the Blackouts. A lot of tension between the teams fueled by their controversial planned make-up game led to a barrage of clever and not so clever verbal attacks before, during, and after the game. Hot Dogs reeled in yet another victory adding to their seemingly unstoppable team.

Harvey Street Herons continue to run on a hot streak as they take on Los Bierdos who are hungry for a win. This strong showing from both teams finished off in excitement as Los Bierdos, down by 8, drove towards the end zone without any timeouts left and the clock ticking. Rubberband man in a rush to stop the clock mistakenly spiked the ball on a 4th down and returned the ball to the herons with 2 seconds left and a chance to kill the clock.

Slow poke from the Gnarwhals and Crazy Horse from the Blackouts are two of the league's strongest running quarterbacks. This match was head to head the entire game. In the end, Blackouts needed a two-point extra kick to the tie the game but Crazy Horse missed the attempt as the ball flew far left of the uprights. Gnarwhals killed the clock with the remaining 51 seconds on the board and secured a big victory.

Game 2 had 2nd ranked hot dogs vs 3rd ranked Ill Eagles. Another very entertaining game that was an even match all the way through. Hot Dogs pulled out their usual charm with the impressive Canadian Beltbuckle and Raw Metal pulling in all sorts of grabs for scores. Ill Eagles saw Toilet Face back at the helm with the retirement of A.Y. Ram Jaam. Toilet face doesn't like to go down and he fought for every inch of field he covered. In the end the Hot Dogs were able to wind down the clock and hold on to their lead for a victory and a seat back in first place.
