Herons (W) vs Blackouts (L)
The Herons and Blackouts faced off as the Herons looked to continue their winning streak and the Blackouts continued their search for the first win of their history. Herons charged early and maintained their lead throughout the game as the Blackouts made strong attempts to catch up but were not able to match the scoring of the Herons who came away with the win.
Los Bierdos (W) vs Hot Dogs (L)
Game 2 was destined to be a nail-bitter. The undefeated Hot Dogs were under major pressure to stave off a loss to the 2nd place Bierdos. The game was well matched throughout but the victory became too far out of reach for the hot dogs with a failed extra point kick that let the Bierdos play to kill the clock (and put more points on the board). With a final interception turnover for the Bierdos the nail was in the coffin for the undefeated record of the Hot Dogs. Los Bierdos retake their seat at the first place team.
